For months I have been sharing on CandyceLand excerpts from Prayers of the Bible: 366 Devotionals To Encourage Your Prayer Life by Gordon Keddie. I was also asked to write an actual book review for Ordained Servant, a publication of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, which I did and submitted a few weeks ago.

Well said. I have been using Keddie's devotional since you recommended it to me in March to my great encouragement. One thing I would add. His encouragement is to "sing" the appointed Psalm. This makes it a capstone for me, and an introduction and entryway into prayer.

Yes, good point, although I never took advantage of the "sing" part - but rather "read" the Psalm. If you've ever heard me sing you would know why. ha
