Medical Leave

The time has come for a little intermission on CandyceLand. Unfortunately I am having surgery today, but I am hoping to return to this site soon. Please check back in a few days. In the meantime, if you are really bored, you could search the archives here. My stat counter says that I have 231 previous posts; even I don't remember what I wrote when CandyceLand was started back in August, 2009! :-)

  1. Take courage my friend may God be with you this day and we will pray for widsom, insight, patience and steady hands for the doctors performing the surgery. For a loving staff to help with the recovery period and for you to rest in the Lord, for Him to give you the complete rest that will be needed for a speedy and thourogh recovery. We want you back, I see there has been no feed back the past 3 days but we are here, walking right along with you starting with, "A very good place to start, Do-RI-ME, Fa-a long, long way to run. Genesis 1:1 In the beginnign God created the heavens and the earth."

We have seen the "Hints of Heaven" my favorite being "The seed germination process, new life after death which immediatly brought to my mind the passage from John 12:24 and I almost commented on that but I would have jumped the gun because on the next days blog you referrenced it, so I glad I held my comment.

As we read on to "A New Heart" you furthered my understanding of how this life on earth, is
"just a germination process that requires a bodily death, and the life that somehow springs from that seed being a resurrection life." I never put two and two together but what glorious insight!

Last but not least "Shadowlands" I enjoy your honesty and your willingness to share your earlier years of doubt, the holes in your faith and understanding of Jesus. We should all be so willing to acknowledge the doubt that plagues us and causes us to turn to things that are seen since we can't understand the Mystery of the things of God, mostly because we don't take the time to read and study His word so we can begin to unravel the mysteries.

May God keep your mind going, bring you peace and keep a pen & paper by your side. Blessings DS
